The Society for Refinement of Landscapes, Department of Architects of the Croatian Chamber of Architects and Engineers and The Faculty of Agriculture are organizing The Symposium on the Maintenance of Urban Spaces with the main theme: Protection of Nature in Urban Areas.
The Symposium will take place on Brijuni, 27th – 30th October 2008.

How to get to Brijuni

This year's theme is Protection of Nature in Urban Areas, with one of the subjects being the Legislation on Nature Protection and the issues with the application of the laws and regulations.
The official languages of the Symposium are English and Croatian.
Reviewed papers will be published in Journal ACS - Agriculturae conspectus scientificus, Scientific Editions of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb.

The fee entitles the participants to hold a lecture in the hall, to listen to lectures in English and Croatian, to receive printed Summaries and Reviews, other printed materials, promotional materials, welcome drink, coffee, the banquet and the excursion with an expert guide.

III International Conference
VOYAGE THROUGH EUROPE:
Architectural experiences, visions and realities
Trieste

Luciano Lazzari, president of Order of Architects PPC of the Province of Trieste, honorable member of Croatian Chamber of Architects and Engineers has the important role in organisation of III International Conference – Voyage through Europe: Architectural experiences, visions and realities, which took place in Auditorium of Rivoltella Museum in Trieste ) on 27-28 May 2005.

The Croatian Chamber of Architects and Engineers was represented by Vinko Penezić President of HGAIK, Vladimir Petrović, Head of ACE Delegation named by HGAIK, Tatjana Grace, Member of Board, Department of Architecture HKAIG.

At the end of the successful Conference the Conclusions were issued.

ARCHITECTURAL EXPERIENCES, VISIONS AND REALITIES

III INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
TRIESTE, ITALY, MAY 27-28/2005

A delegation of the Section of Architects of the Croatian Chamber of Architects and Civil Engineers consisting of: Vladimir Petrović – a Head of Delegation, Zlatko Hanžek – as a Deputy, i.e. former Chairman of the Section, and Helena Knifić Schaps – as a new Chairwoman of the Section, attended the General Assembly Meeting of the Architects' Council of Europe in Brussels.

After the last November admission of the Organization which represents the licensed Croatian architects, with the observer’s status, into the ACE, at the EU level, it was the first Assembly Meeting the representatives of Croatian Architects took an active part in.

Because of his contribution in developing cooperation between Department of Architects and Italian Chamber of Architects,
mr. Luciano Lazzari, architect,
has become the honorable member of the Department of Architects.

Honorable member charter has been presented at the ceremonial meeting of the Chamber Assembly.

Architects' Council of Europe (ACE)

with Observer Member status, on 20th of November 2004 by uninanimous decision of the ACE General Assembley.
