	RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CHAMBER

VIII. SUPERVISION OVER THE CHAMBER OPERATIONS

Article 47

(1) The Ministry shall supervise and monitor the Chamber activities and is entitled to receive the relevant reports and data.
(2) The Chamber is obliged to submit to the Ministry the reports and data from Paragraph 1 of this Article not later than 30 days, or notify the Ministry in the same period on the reasons why it cannot submit the required documents.

IX. PENALTY PROVISIONS

Article 48

A certificated architect or a certificated engineer shall be fined with an amount ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 kunas for using the professional title of certificated architect or a certificated engineer in a sense contrary to this Act.

X.TRANSITIONAL AND CONCLUDING PROVISIONS

Article 49

Certificates on the certification examination for performing jobs in building and construction and other related certificates, acquired in the former Yugoslavia before October 8, 1991, shall be equal to those acquired in the Republic of Croatia.

Article 50

The persons who met the requirements to hold the title of design engineer, project leader, supervisory engineer, and certificated auditor in conformity with the regulations valid before this Act, are entitled to enter the Chamber Register if they submit an application to enter the Register of certificated architects or the Register of certificated engineers not later than eighteen months from the day this Act has become valid.

Article 51

(1) The Minister of Physical Planning, Building and Housing shall appoint a preparatory and a temporary committee for the registration of architects and engineers in the Register of certificated architects and the Register of certificated engineers.
(2) The Founding committee from Paragraph 1 of this Article shall convene the first conference of the Chamber.

Article 52

This Act shall come into force on the eight day from the date it was published in the «Official Gazette», and the provision from Article 35 of this Act shall be enforced from January 1, 2000.
